Contribution to the Marks & Start Training Center

The Marks & Start program, an esteemed CSR initiative by Marks & Spencer in Bangladesh, collaborates with the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP) to rehabilitate physically challenged individuals within the garment industry. Since its inception in 2006, this program has successfully trained and integrated over 1,200 individuals into the workforce, promoting inclusivity and empowerment. Meghna Knit Composite Ltd. proudly joined this transformative initiative in 2015, contributing to the expansion of the Marks & Start training center in Gonokbari, Savar, and Dhaka by donating two state-of-the-art sewing machines.

Recruitment from CRP-Bangladesh

In our commitment to social responsibility, Meghna Knit Composite actively recruits individuals from the CRP-Bangladesh under the Marks & Start program. This initiative not only supports physically challenged individuals but also extends its reach to those with health conditions, young parents, and individuals at risk of homelessness. Partnering with internationally respected organizations like CRP, we strive to create meaningful employment opportunities that foster dignity and independence.

Humanitarian Relief for Flood-Affected Communities

Natural disasters can have devastating effects on communities, and at Meghna Executive Holdings, we recognize our duty to lend a helping hand during such crises. In 2007, when floods ravaged various regions of Bangladesh, we mobilized our resources to provide essential food and medical supplies to affected individuals in areas like Paikchora, Vungmorara, and Kurigram. Our commitment to humanitarian aid underscores our belief in nurturing resilience and hope within the communities we serve.
